BEHIND THE LENS
Best known for her soulful portraits and quietly powerful still-life compositions, Lisa Ray is a photographic artist whose work is anchored in presence, honesty, and heart.
With over 20 years of experience, she blends technical precision with creative intuition, offering images that feel spacious, grounded, and deeply human.
Drawing on a background in yoga and meditation, Lisa creates a calm and sensitive environment where people feel safe to soften, express, and be seen. Whether working with individuals or crafting delicate floral still life, her work moves fluidly between portraiture, storytelling, and fine art - infused with intention and a refined understanding of light, detail, and composition.
With a Bachelor of Photography from RMIT, Lisa has exhibited widely and continues to offer fine art prints through her online store. Her work is sought after by those who value quiet presence and authenticity, including collectors, wellness practitioners, and aligned brands.
Lisa’s refined eye for detail is shaped by her background in high-end commercial retouching, which continues to inform the technical precision of her work. She now calls Brisbane, Queensland home, and enjoys creating far and wide.
