Exhibiting at the Victorian Pride Centre Nov 8 2022 - Jan 17 2023.

My work is currently exhibiting at the Victorian Pride Centre as part of their curated visual arts program.

The exhibition, Different flowers from the same field, explores the relationship between artist and flora, and the idea that people and plants each carry their own individual energetic signatures. The images come together as a quiet meditation on difference, connection, and shared origin - a reflection on unique beauty and expression held within a collective whole.

The Victorian Pride Centre is a space shaped by lived experience, visibility, and care. Exhibitions at the Centre are programmed by the Visual Arts Working Group - a collective of artists and arts professionals who collaborate to curate a year-round program reflecting the rich diversity of LGBTIQA+ communities in Victoria.

Photography exists in relationship - with space, with people, and with what they bring into the moment. As the exhibition unfolds, viewers take time with the images, pausing, reflecting, and engaging in quiet and considered ways. The work is encountered slowly, allowing space for personal resonance and interpretation.

Different flowers from the same field speaks to individuality without separation. It acknowledges difference while gently reminding us of shared belonging - different expressions, energies, and forms emerging from the same source. This experience continues to shape my practice and deepen my understanding of art as an invitation into presence.
