Finalist - Into the Light Art Prize, 2023Whitewall Art Projects Gallery, Berrima NSW

I am honoured to be selected as a Finalist in the Into the Light Art Prize, presented by Whitewall Art Projects Gallery in Berrima, NSW.

Now in its fourth year, Into the Light is a national exhibition and non-acquisitive art prize promoting mental health awareness through contemporary art. The 2023 exhibition features 61 finalists, selected from over 200 entries received from across Australia, and includes a $5,000 non-acquisitive prize, judged by Louise Olsen and Stephen Ormandy.

My selected work explores subtle internal states and the presence of light that is eternally present within us.

The exhibition runs from 29 September to 15 October 2023, with an opening event held on Saturday 30 September at Whitewall Art Projects Gallery, Berrima. The exhibition is presented both in-gallery and online.

All works in the exhibition are for sale, with 10% of sales donated to the ‘Cool Kids Program’, delivered by the local Stress and Trauma Clinic in support of youth mental health.
