Alter Offerings
Alongside the exhibition, I have made something else: The Alter Offerings, a small collection that exists only for this moment: a practice, an artwork, a portrait, and a work that will exist for no one else. Everything was made in the same spirit as the show, and everything closes at the threshold when the show opens.

A work made only for you
Somewhere in your life there is a form that holds meaning. A flower, a cherished object, a found gift of nature from a day everything changed. Something grown, given, kept, or grieved.
This commission gives that form to presence.
We begin with a conversation, where I listen for what matters. Then the material is gathered and offered to my creative process, the same process behind every work in Alter. What emerges is a unique fine art print, an edition of one, that will never exist in any other form, for anyone else. It arrives with a written account of its making.
You bring the form. I bring the making. That is the agreement, and it is where the magic lives.
Only 2 commissions exist. Made after the exhibition closes, in their own time.
$3,500, taken in two parts, half to begin, half on completion. Unique work, edition of 1, signed and documented. Size and paper decided within the process. Begins with a private conversation, in person in Brisbane or online. By enquiry.
